Trade Worker Bursary
Purpose: Exclusive to CHA members and their family members of any AGE
Entering into a skilled worker program specializing in trades benefiting agriculture.
i.e. welder, ultra sound tech, health care workers, mechanic, AI course
(just to name a few).
Deadline: June 1
Award amount: $2500
Number awarded per year: up to 1 per year
Eligibility: applicants must be
1) Any CHA member or person affiliated with a CHA membership is eligible to apply.
2) The Bursary is available for those attending a skilled worker program specializing in trades benefitting agriculture (ex. Welder, ultrasound technician, healthcare worker, mechanic, Artificial Insemination course).
3) A person may only receive this bursary once.
Application Process:
1) Submit an essay with proof of registration into the program and the program cost.
Selection Process:
1) Applications will be reviewed and ranked by the Keith Gilmore Foundation Board of Trustees.
2) Successful Applicants will be required to provide proof of enrollment/tuition fees being paid before any KGF scholarship cheque will be distributed.
